First time user? Read this first.
Great, I’ve already set up my Twitter! Does this mean that I’ll now start receiving all updates from the people I follow on my phone?
You need to subscribe to any of our unlimited packages in order to
receive tweets (or FB status updates) from people you follow. You can do
this by texting any of the following to 2805:
BUY 1 (P15/day)
BUY 7 (P50/7 days)
BUY 30 (P150/30 days)
By default you will receive tweets from EVERYONE you follow unless you
select the people whom you want to receive tweets from. The people you
choose to follow/unfollow on Sun Alertz will not affect your Twitter
account-it will only affect the mobile tweets that you will receive on
your phone if you are subscribed to the service.
Login to http://www.sunalertz.com and click the names of those you want to follow.
Oops I changed my mind—I want to use another Twitter account.
No problem! Login to http://www.sunalertz.com, click your Twitter account and click “Delete.”
Let’s get to the fun part! How do I send a tweet?
To send a tweet from Sun Alertz, text TW <140-character message) and send to 2805.
How much does it cost to send a tweet?
It only costs P1.00/tweet. If you’re a heavy tweeter and would like to send and receive tweets, you can choose from any of our affordable UNLIMITED packages:
To avail an unlimited package, text BUY <# of days> to 2805. Ex. BUY 1.
I just subscribed to the service. Why am I receiving tweets which were posted minutes ago?
Whenever you subscribe to the service, you will receive tweets from the contacts you’ve chosen which were posted within the past hour.
I’m a postpaid user. Is this service consumable?
No, currently Sun Alertz is on top of your plan.
I don’t want to receive any mobile tweets anymore!
Go to http://www.sunalertz.com, click your Twitter account and uncheck the “status updates” box.
You might also want to set a schedule for receiving your alertz. You can do this within the Sun Alertz site or by texting SCHED hhmm HHMM to 2805. For example, you only want to receive tweets between 8:00AM to 1:00PM. Text SCHED 0800 1300 to 2805.

How can I send a direct message?
Text d <username> <msg> to 2805. For example, to send us a message, send this to 2805:

I received a message from d<username>. What does that mean?
This means that your contact has sent you a direct message. Example:
dsuncelltweets: Thanks for using Sun Aletz!
If you reply to the message, it will be sent to your contact as a direct message too.
I replied to a direct message but got a “Sorry not supported” reply. What does this mean?
In order for direct messaging to work, you must be mutually following each other on Twitter.
How do I make an addressed reply?
Simply reply to the tweet you’ve received.
I also set up a Facebook account. Is there a way for me to post the same message on both Twitter and Facebook?
Yup! Just text STAT <your message> to 2805.

How do I get unlimited status updates?
To send and receive unlimited tweets and status updates, text any of the following to 2805:
